Janet Echelman Sculpture at LeBauer Park |Public Art Endowment of Greensboro
Not specifically running related, however, if you’re a fan of the local parks and looking forward to the opening of LeBauer Park on August 8th, you might like this one.
The Public Art Endowment of Greensboro shared a video this week of a Skype conversation where Janet Echelman explained that an 1896 map of the railroad tracks connecting North Carolina’s major textile hubs served as the inspiration for the net sculpture that will hang in the park.
 Note: Janet’s portion of the conversation begins around the 2:30 mark in the video.
